‘Lyk dis’: Cryptic cartoons and cali sunsets with Knxwledge and Anderson. Paak
Is there anyone in music who is as busy (and cool) as Anderson. Paak right now?
Fresh from his video collab with Apple Music and FKA Twigs for his single ‘Til it’s over’, the neo-funk icon returns with beat-maker Knxwledge as NxWorries, releasing the much-anticipated video for their 2016 track: ‘Lyk dis’. However, it does come with a warning: it’s not for kids ...
‘Lyk dis’ paints an animated World of sex and spliff smoke as the duo cruise downtown LA in search of last night’s booty call. Sharing a convertible with Knxwledge, the producer behind Kendrick Lamar’s Grammy Award-winning album: ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’ (2015), the revival of Creme D'Cocoa’s ‘Mr Me, Mrs You’ (1978), and Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes’ ‘Ebony Woman’ (1972) serve as the samples to Paak’s raspy verse. Belt up, sit back and nod your head to this sexy slow-jam.
